Growing up in and around the city, I'm your typical Irish + Polish Chicago girl. Spent my 20s working full-time in finance downtown + living it up working/playing in the Chicago bar scene. I had a blast! After extensive travel around the country and world for work, passion, and fun, I decided, in my mid - 30s, it was finally time to settle down. So I did what was becoming the new "norm" and met someone online. I fell in love, got married, and became a step-mom within a couple years! But the honeymoon didn't last and by the end of 2020, I found myself divorced. 

 

While I was sprucing up my place a good friend signed me up for online dating (again) so other areas of my life could be spruced up too. Throughout my rehab and dating adventures, I kept finding that the Universe provided me with the right people to help me deal with the trials and tribulations of my new single life. Not only were they the right people, they were also put into my life at the right time. Serendipity? I realized that all my stories, successes and missteps, deserved focus too. So, FixHerUp was born.
